This time to discuss Animals and Halal Haram, halal and animals that can be eaten as a food source. Animals on this earth is a gift and the grace of God to be kept and taken its benefits. Men as Viceroys of the Earth allowed to take up its benefits, one of which with eating it.
أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُ مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ ۖ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَرِّ مَا دُمْتُمْ حُرُمًا ۗ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
Permitted for you game and seafood (derived) from the Ocean as food for you and for the people who are on the way; and forbidden ever (caught) ground game, as long as ye in ihram. And fear Allah That to him was the one you will be collected.
(QS: Al-Maidah Verse: 96)
The game meant here is a sea animal that is obtained by way of such ventures, fishing and various other halal hunter-gatherers. Is the sea, in this case, is like rivers, lakes, ponds, and other habitats.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَوْفُوا بِالْعُقُودِ ۚ أُحِلَّتْ لَكُمْ بَهِيمَةُ الْأَنْعَامِ إِلَّا مَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ غَيْرَ مُحِلِّي الصَّيْدِ وَأَنْتُمْ حُرُمٌ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ مَا يُرِيدُ
O believers, fill aqad-aqad it. Permitted to you cattle, except that it will be read to you. (That) and did not justify the hunt when you are working on. Verily, Allâh sets the laws according to which wills. (QS: Al-Maidah Verse: 1)
Not all cattle permitted, but there are also prohibited. Haram animals such as pigs, dogs, donkeys or himar already being farmed. As explained in surat al-Khushoo is [5]: 5 and the Hadith.
The Word Of God:
الْيَوْمَ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ ۖ وَطَعَامُ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ حِلٌّ لَكُمْ وَطَعَامُكُمْ حِلٌّ لَهُمْ ۖ وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ إِذَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ مُحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحِينَ وَلَا مُتَّخِذِي أَخْدَانٍ ۗ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالْإِيمَانِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
